Big Dog Logistics – No Limits.

Daniel Kirk serves as CEO and co-founder of Big Dog Logistics and its operating companies, and serves on the Board of Directors for Frogfire Technologies.

Mr. Kirk has more than 30 years of transportation industry experience. His career began in the operations department of Central Freight Lines, where he learned the LTL business working in sales, office management, security and claims. In 1994, Mr. Kirk joined one of the largest retail pool distributors in Texas, as the Vice-President of Sales. This position expanded his knowledge of the courier industry, where he developed business opportunities in retail and distribution, LTL and the hotshot on-demand business.

In 1996, Mr. Kirk met Kirk Lane while he was expanding the nationwide retail pool distribution network at US Delivery. In 1998, he joined a nationwide 3PL as Vice-President of Sales, where he opened large, automated sortation centers in Atlanta and Oklahoma City to perform retail distribution for Fortune 500 customers.

In 2001, Mr. Kirk and Mr. Lane formed Big Dog Logistics. Their vision to create a nationwide network for mail, small package and retail distribution has expanded and diversified. Today, Big Dog Logistics takes pride in developing customized solutions for customers large and small, many of whom are Fortune 500 customers in a variety of industries, including retail, oil and gas, medical and military.

Mr. Kirk earned an associate degree in international and domestic transportation from the University of Houston.

Kirk Lane is the President and co-founder of Big Dog Logistics and its operating companies, and serves on the Board of Directors for FrogFire Technologies.

Mr. Lane has more than 25 years of transportation industry experience. His career began as a customer service representative for Vianet, a Houston-based courier company. He quickly learned the business and proceeded to open Vianet branches in Tampa and Miami, Florida, and acted as the General Manager and Sales Manager for those operations. When Vianet and five other regional transportation service companies went public in 1994 as US Delivery, Mr. Lane was named National Account Manager and was responsible for such major accounts as WESCO, Exxon Chemical USA and Whirlpool.

Corporate Express bought US Delivery in 1996, and named the company Corporate Express Delivery Systems. Mr. Lane was named Director of National Accounts and was responsible for establishing operating procedures and systems to support new national accounts. In 1997, Mr. Lane became the General Manager of Corporate Express Delivery & Distribution Services, a 3PL division of Corporate Express Delivery Systems, which was located in Keego Harbor, Michigan. In that role, Mr. Lane was responsible for P&L and sales for the company's national accounts: SUN Microsystems, Sears and a variety of pharmaceutical companies. This entity became Corporate Express Delivery Systems' most profitable division.

United Shipping & Technology acquired Corporate Express Delivery Systems in 1999 and named the company Velocity Express. Mr. Lane was named Vice-President of National Sales and managed 10 senior national sales directors and established national sales initiatives. In 2001, Mr. Lane and Mr. Kirk created Big Dog Logistics.

Mr. Lane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.
